Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission is seeking to appoint a Deputy Director of Investigations and Operations
The Public Appointments Service (PAS) on behalf of the Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission (GSOC) has launched a recruitment campaign to appoint a Deputy Director of Investigations and Operations.
The Deputy Director of Investigations and Operations is a senior management role in GSOC, reporting directly to the Director of Investigations and Operations. The role has a direct line management responsibility for Senior Investigations and / or Senior Case Officers, who are at Assistant Principal Officer grade. The role provides leadership, management and direction to these Officers to ensure that their teams are processing complaints and completing investigations in a professional and timely manner and inspiring staff to high standards of performance to meet the organisation’s strategic objectives.
The candidate will be expected to act ethically and in accordance with the highest standards of integrity, honesty, and fairness at all times in keeping with GSOC’s core values.
The successful candidate will be based in GSOC headquarters at 150 Upper Abbey Street, Dublin 1.
