Witness Appeal – Discharge of an Official Firearm in Clonee

The Garda Sίochána Ombudsman Commission (GSOC) is appealing for help from potential witnesses to an incident it is investigating.

The incident involved the discharge of an official firearm in Clonee at approximately 13:00 hours today, 30 December 2020, fatally injuring a male.

GSOC would like to hear from any potential witnesses that may have captured the incident on CCTV, dashcams or mobile footage.
